So in the spirit of being honest...
I have told my mother about myself than I ever have in my life. I no longer have to hide things about myself that were key to her knowing who I really am. I realize I no longer have to hide anything about myself. It’s no longer necessary. Nor was it ever necessary to begin with.

I thought that Home Depot wasn’t going to let me take my vacation so I thought I was going to have to procure a doctor’s note stating that I was “gravely ill.”
But I got the vacay time and...
